&lt;p&gt;The only thing I have accomplished this evening is sending a long winded email to my History prof about what I want my paper topics to be.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Oh, and realizing that my International Development term paper topic is not doable, and I need to rethink it completely, taking the subsequent 2 hours to stare at my computer screen and try desperately to think of something worthwhile to write about. (to no avail)&lt;/p&gt;

(gasp!)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The work out was pretty awesome, I did squats and lunges with one leg on a bosu ball where basically you do a squat, keep your one leg on the ball, then move the other leg behind you and do a lunge then repeat. OUCH! Lot’s of other stuff too, deadlifts with 20lbs instead of 10 since I’m getting stronger. It was a blast as usual.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I had subway for lunch because I didn’t feel like cooking and have some reading to do before class at 2:30 today. Also I’m waiting patiently for my new dress to arrive, hopefully it will come in time for me to wear it today! &lt;p&gt;My tentative schedule was:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Monday - break&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Tues - Training: check&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Weds - 40 mins cardio + abs (didn’t go, boo)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Thurs - Break (Went this day instead! yay!)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Fri - Training (Worked my ass off, yes!)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Saturday - 1 hr cardio (Danced at the bar for hours instead, although the alcohol prob. canceled that out)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sunday - 30 mins cardio + abs (I was DETERMINED to work out yesterday so after work at 11pm I did the Yoga Booty Ballet Cardio vid, and yes its as cheesy as it sounds but still pretty awesome. And some pilates for lower body)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Soooo, if you count Saturday’s dancing, that’s 5 days! Not too shabby!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This morning was rough, doing an intense workout right before bed probably wasn’t the best idea even though it felt awesome at the time. My neck and lower back are quite sore but I still think I’ll go to the gym today. Maybe aquacize?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Workout Schedule for March 8 -14&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Monday: Core circuit followed by aquaftiness&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Tuesday: Training&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Weds: 8am yoga?? (hah, unlikely but I will try)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Thursday: break&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Friday: Training&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Saturday: 45 mins Cardio&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Sunday Break.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, I lost another 2.5 inches! Screw you unchanging weight, I got muscle now!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So I’m now at:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Waist: 41.5’ (First measurement was 48.5, what!?)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Belly: 50’ (First time I’ve measured this, gah its horrid but oh well)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Hips: 46’ (Still the same and fine with me, I have a flat ass, TBH I wouldn’t mind if it was bigger! haha)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Wish me luck this week. I’m going to have 7 days of being perfect even if it kills me! &lt;p&gt;If I didn’t have to go sling slurpees and junk food to gamers tonight (the joys of working at an arcade) I’d totally be hitting the gym.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So aside from having a blast last night and not giving in to greasy post bar food, this weekend was kind of a bust.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Ryan and I decided to make homemade pasta and sauce for dinner tonight. Something we eat a lot but have never done from scratch. These photos chronicle the process, pretty self explanatory.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We just used the basic pasta recipe, 1 egg to every cup of flour with a little salt and water. We used whole wheat flour to try and make it a little healthier.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The sauce was simply tomatoes, lots of garlic, dried basil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper and feta cheese. It was very tasty!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The pasta turned out alright. We didn’t roll it out thin enough so it was pretty chewy but it tasted fine and we decided it was a good prototype for next time. Didn’t go for as long as I wanted but it was either that or miss my 2:30 class which I don’t like doing. I opted for a quick 20 mins on the treadmill at my regular gym instead of an intense hour at 9pm at the school gym I dislike so much. Which I suppose is better than nothing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, I’ve been doing very well food wise the past few days. I need to get more protein in for sure, but blogging on a regular basis has helped me with the junk cravings!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This was my supper between classes. Filled me up nicely, but I was hungry by the time my class was over. (It’s 3 hours long) I need to get the protein/veg/carb ratios down so I don’t feel starved when I get home at 10.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;This is my one frustration with Weight Watchers. Their tendency to endorse food that is seemingly healthy by being low in points, but is in no means healthful in terms of chemicals, salt, preservatives and additives. Food processed and preserved, frozen and packaged for a generation who wants to lose weight and be healthy as long as it’s CONVENIANT. To me this is the food equivalent of green washing. Just because something has less calories or fat does not mean it is good for you.&lt;/p&gt;

Today I have 60 pages of reading to get done for 6pm with classes in between so I’m going to try and make it to the campus gym after my class ends at 9pm. I really dislike the school gym. It may be huge and fancy and open later than the one I normally go to but it’s always full of irritating football players and skanky blonde gym girls who workout in 300 dollar lululemon outfits and full face makeup. In the interest of getting my ass in shape however, I will be braving it for one night. Keep in mind my ass will go nowhere near the weight machine area, the football players all seem to just hang around there, sometimes lifting weights but mostly just hovering. It’s creepy. I’ll do my ab workout at home thank you very much. I’ve been struggling to see what my 2 months of gym time has gotten me, simply because my weight has stayed the same plus or minus 3-5 lbs. It’s been SO frustrating! But the other day I was getting dressed and noticed a distinct curve inward which wasn’t there before. Even when I lost 40lbs a few years ago, I wasn’t working out so I was still boxy, just smaller. I’m pretty pumped.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My Boobs are getting smaller, and not to overuse religious exclamations but Hallelujah! Maybe eventually I won’t have to spent 180 bucks on a bra.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Oh, and remember when I said I would update on sunday about sticking to my gym schedule? Sure didn’t (update or stick to it) I’m really struggling with going to the gym on days I dont have training scheduled. All I need to do is get my ass there 3 extra days on my own and I’m good for the week. I’ll keep writing my tentative schedule here to keep me somewhat accountable.&lt;/p&gt;

A whole whopping pound of food! Wowee!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Oh, man. I always search out the Hungry Man Sport meals when I’m at the grocery store. Not to buy and eat, of course. I just like reading the box. These “meals” are so junky. Just look at that “nutrional” content: &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;860 Calories. Holy shit. Okay, the poster boy for Poor Dietary Choices, The Big Mac, only has 540 calories.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;FIFTY GRAMS OF FAT, plus shit ton of saturated and trans fats. Gosh, the Big Mac only has 29 total grams of fat (which is still intense, but I just wanted a comparison for scale).&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Anyway, over two THOUSAND milligrams of sodium is packed away in this frozen pile of meat and cheese. Note that 1500mg is the adequate DAILY intake for most adults…like, over the course of a DAY. Not just one “meal”.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Basically, death in a box. I can’t believe that this thing is even allowed to be sold in stores. It’s just so blatantly unhealthy that it’s almost funny. And quite sad and scary.&lt;/p&gt;

I made this with all my supplies/ingredients laid out on my coffee table after work on Sunday, while watching Pride and Prejudice.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The red box is for me, so I don’t have to eat crappy University food while I work on my paper, and the white box is for Ryan to take to work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Everything is orange and green! I think I need to expand my color scheme next time I get groceries. The roll ups are made with thin sliced pork chops, drizzled with olive oil, s/p, and a bit of garlic powder. The rest is pretty self explanatory.&lt;/p&gt;
