So normally I don’t like to get down on people about their parenting choices. Judge not etc., but there was a lady who came into my work today who had her 2 1/2 month old strapped in an umbrella stroker with no head or neck support at all. Of course I didn’t say anything to her but I don’t understand why people are so ignorant about stroller and car seat safety. Ugh.

and not so sassy. i have 100+lbs to lose and it’s been slow going.

I really need to stick with myfitnesspal for longer than 2 days at a time. Also stop eating so much damn sugar. I’m torn between doing paleo/low carb and just focusing on tracking and seeing how I do. I’ve been much more active lately which is great but my knees are so so messed up that even a short 20 minute walk is painful.

It’s a double edged sword, really. I need to exercise to lose weight, but the extra weight puts stress on my joints and I usually end up injuring myself which makes me unable to be active and I gain even more. Baby steps I guess. Henry is napping right now so I think we will go for a walk when he wakes up.

Not only was I hungover today but my body gave in to whatever bug I’ve been fighting off for a while and now. My throat is crazy sore and my sinuses are angry. Henry is sick too so we will be miserable together for the next little while. This photo is of Ryan helping me get Henry to sleep. He is pretty much the best husband and I could ask for. I am so grateful that he is such a hands on dad.
