Success!

Ryan and I walked 8km yesterday in the cold wet windy mess that is March in Saskatchewan. I still can’t believe how gross and snowy it is right now, especially with things starting to melt a little bit, then freezing overnight so you get this weird ice/mud/slush combo that is not pleasant to navigate.

The broadway bridge was probably the worst. Slipper wet incline with the occasional splash of cold muddy water from cars passing. But we made it! As you can see I was pretty cold. I almost didnt bring my ear muffs and I’m really glad I did

My legs are extremely sore today, but we had lot’s of fun and ended up getting a new bike for me at the Bike Doctor! I’m so pumped, its a neat mountain/cruiser thing that is supposed to be great for city and trail riding. As soon as it get’s nice out, I’m going to ride everywhere.

Today I will finally cut Ryan’s hair, hopefully do some cleaning and work out the renos we are doing on the kitchen this summer. So exciting!
