Goal Setting
This is my new objective, to set my goals and stick to them and since I am the only person who can stop me from achieving them, I want this blog to keep me accountable.
So, as you can see on the sidebar I want to go to South Africa next year, and to do that I need a large chunk of money and to get healthy to be able to handle the heat/travel. This is extremely important that I be able to go on this trip so I can prove to myself that I CAN hack it overseas and that I’m not pursuing my degree in vain. Goals like this can be pretty overwhelming, I don’t know how many times I’ve given up on something because it seemed unreachable. That’s why I plan on breaking it down into smaller sub-goals, maybe month by month or week by week. If you have any suggestions I’ll be happy to hear them, because I have a feeling I’m going to need a lot of help on this.
5 Sub Goals for this week (baby steps!)
1. Exercise 30 mins each day
2. No bubble tea!!
- so hard when I get it for cheap/free
3. Bring lunches to school/work
- this will help be control portions and save money
4. Drink 6-8 glasses of water per day
- I feel like I’m coming down with a cold, gotta keep hydrated!
5. Start counting points again
- Even though I’m not officially going to meetings, I can still use the stuff I learned on WW to help me stay on track
