After much deliberation, Ryan and I FINALLY bought a BBQ, and it is seriously the best decision we have made all year. I am in love with grilling, it makes everything taste good, even normally bitter green peppers that I really dislike. It’s been so hot and humid here for the last few days that cooking inside is just not an option, especially since we don’t have air conditioning.
Tonight we had:
T-bone steak (one shared between the two of us)
Green and red pepper kabobs with basil, olive oil and onion.
ANDDDDD…

Grilled Peaches!!
I have been wanted to make these for ages and they did not disappoint. We did em nice and simple, without any added sugar and topped with plain greek yogurt and a drizzle of pure maple syrup, it was heavenly. They are my healthy answer to roasted marshmallows, since the charred bits give you that lovely sweet campfire taste.
Our garden tomatoes, peppers and cucumber are almost ready and I can’t wait to grill, pickle and cook up a storm.
I love summer!
