Goals for the rest of the week
- Get some exercise, aside from the one training session I have scheduled on Friday
- Finish the last two term papers
- Go to bed and wake up at reasonable hours.
- Eat healthy, unprocessed real food.
- Reduce gluten intake
- Get tested for food allergies
- Keep the damn kitchen clean.
I’ve been having some tummy issues lately, and I’m convinced it’s a food allergy of some kind. I’ll spare you the unpleasant details but it really has not been fun, not to mention the headaches and lethargy I’ve been experiencing too. I’m going to start by limiting my wheat intake to see if it makes a difference, but I’m also going to go to the doc and get a few blood tests done to make sure.
On a happy note, Ryan cleaned the entire kitchen for me yesterday. I’m sure you’re thinking “So, what?” but seriously it was the BEST birthday gift. I cannot express how much I loathe, no, despise cleaning the kitchen and doing dishes and since we’ve been so busy, it seems like there’s always cleaning to do. Our kitchen is fracking immaculate now and I’m not going to disturb that shit for any reason. I just have to keep saying to myself “Clean as you go, you lazy cow!” and I’m sure I’ll keep up with it. That’s positive “self-talk” right? right?
