Fickle Ears

With the death of my 8g iPod touch, I’ve had to revert back to using my little old school 4g nano, which means scaling back my music collection to make it fit. It was easier to do than it might seem, since the total on my touch never went over 6g. People always think I’m weird that I have trouble filling the 8g, explaining they have over 80g of music on their computer, etc. But I honestly wonder, do they listen to their entire enormous music collection on a regular basis? Maybe it’s just me. I have this weird habit of over-listening to maybe 3-4 albums at a time and as a result I get sick of them and move on to new ones. I could very well have 80g of music on my computer but I’ve never checked and I would never put it all on shuffle. Songs and albums remind me of certain parts of my life, past events that I feel like I’ve moved on from and some carry not to pleasant memories. So maybe that’s why I find it impossible to fill an 8g iPod. Or maybe I just have a really, really short attention span.

Below you will see 4 albums that I’m currently overplaying on my outdated green iPod. I recommend all of them, this week anyway.
