I envy women who can breastfeed easily in public. I have such a hard time, not with the modesty of flashing my tits to strangers, but the logistics of holding Henry and latching him with minimal support. If I’m not sitting in a chair with good back support and if I don’t have my nursing pillow, it’s a constant struggle to hold him up and maintain a decent latch that doesn’t cause me pain. Maybe I just don’t have the arm muscles yet? I managed to use my diaper bag to support him in the football hold while waiting for my appointment today, that worked out pretty well, but there isn’t always room.
I need tips, ladies!

I carry a travel pillow in my diaper bag, the kind that go around your neck and are shaped like mini Boppys. That works for me, although I admit I’m also a bit gun shy about it too.

I don’t have tips but it just gets easier as they get older, haha! Even though she’s heavier, because Alice isn’t so delicate I can throw her around (not literally obv!) until I’m in the right position. I rarely use support anymore, only a boppy at night

It definitely get’s easier! With Ezra, I would make sure I always had a blanket on hand, something thick-ish, so when I went out, I could fold it up and have it act as a pillow. A coat works too!
