So I purchased my first BB cream today. I have been thinking about trying one for awhile, but wasn’t sure where in the great white north I could find one, and unwilling to pay out the wazoo to buy online. Luckily, after doing some research I decided to do the slightly risky move and buy one on Ebay. Now, I know there have been many reviews of fake products and sellers, most of which are primarily based in China. From what I have read the seller I chose seems to be legit, from Korea where the products are made and reasonably priced to boot. I’ll keep you updated on the authenticity when it arrives in a few weeks.
The main reason I decided to take the plunge is because my skin has been absolutely horrible ever since I got pregnant. Even more so in the past few weeks. It seems like no matter what I do, I can’t prevent the painful cystic acne that has been erupting in my T-zone. Ryan has dubbed the biggest one yet, my “second chin.”
I’m hoping the BB cream, which was originally developed to soothe, protect and cover post chemical peel/surgical skin will help prevent and cover breakouts as well as fade some of the imminent scarring I may have.
What do you think? Have you tried a BB cream? Are they as awesome as so many people claim?
