Only my district manager seems to point out how big I am, and I’m thinking Bitch, I was fat before I got pregs, what do you expect? Annoying!Hahaha! That’s seriously irritating. Especially from someone you work for/with. Doesn’t she know that it’s kind of inappropriate to comment on your size?
Apparently not. She even touches my belly and says “OOO look at that belly, how many months do you have left? You’re going to be so uncomfortable, etc etc.” Funny thing is I haven’t gained any weight in my entire 28 weeks. Luckily I’m done work soon.
Day 3: Do you know the day you conceived? No idea! We had stopped keeping track because of a disappointment the month before. Some time in October.
Day 4: How did you find out you were expecting? It was a few days before my period was due and I just had this weird feeling. I promised Ryan I would wait until after I missed it to take a test but I couldn’t stop thinking about it. It was about 2 am and I woke up to go to the bathroom and on a whim I grabbed a test from the cupboard and took it. The 2nd line showed up right away. I went back to bed and shook Ryan awake to tell him and he said “Oh that’s cool” and fell back asleep. haha. He refused to believe it was true until it was confirmed by the doctor which it was a week later.

only 26 weeks and I’m already making my hospital bag check list and cleaning like a mad women.
Nesting started for me this weekend. Let me say first that I HATE cleaning but I literally got excited to clean the kitchen and do dishes.
It’s so bizarre you guys.

It’s really hard to put into words how I feel about becoming a mother for the first time. How do you describe a million feelings bombarding you at once? I mean really, just thinking about it makes me panic a little. That’s normal right? I’ve known for quite some time that being a mom was what I was meant to do. Even despite all the lofty career and academic aspirations I had in my early 20s. I’m sure some people think I threw it all away, sacrificed finishing my degree or bided my time until I got married and we made the decision to start a family. In some ways that might be true. I never felt one hundred percent committed to school or my career as a hairstylist and I always felt like I was missing something. Despite all the shoulda coulda woulda’s in my life I take one look at my ultrasound photo and instantly I REGRET NOTHING. That tiny human growing inside of me will be most important and most incredible thing I have accomplished in my life so far and I have to say, I’m pretty cool with that.
Ok, so it may seem silly but I am seriously obsessed with researching and trying out strollers. It’s been an all consuming hobby for the past few weeks and my husband thinks I’ve seriously gone insane. But there are soooo many options to consider! so many reviews to look over! so many Youtube videos to watch!
One of my favorite sites/youtube channels for stroller info is BabyGizmo. (Blog &YT Channel) They have phenomenal and indepths reviews of tons and tons of strollers and baby toys/ gadgets and it’s been a super helpful resource for my OCD approach to finding the perfect stroller.
Right now they are having a killer giveaway every day for the next month. Seriously, a different stroller or gadget EVERY DAY.
Today’s giveaway is for the Britax B-Agile which is one for the strollers on the top of my list.

There’s like 90 mins left, so if you are expecting or a new mom seriously check it out!
Also for moms who already have their strollers chosen, what did you choose? Are you happy with your purchase? Let me know!
